Knockraha Area Community Association

This year Knockraha has come on leaps and bounds. So far the club has reached the final 6 in the AIB Club of the year competition, Emily 0' Connell of Watergrasshill came 1st runner up in the Queen of the Land competition which is held in Tullamore every year. Michelle 0' Callaghan was elected as a runner up in the leadership awards which was held in January. We also took part in the national Bowling competition in Carlow at the start of the year a great weekend was had by all who attended.

Knockraha Macro is a club that is aimed at people aged between 17 and 35 we take part in many events and activities these include: Soccer, Basketball, 7 aside football, brama. Debating, Farm tasks. Bowling Singing competitions and lots more. We also take part in national competitions such as Queen of the land, Mr Personality, Miss Blue Jeans, Miss Macro and many more.

Macro is also a great way to meet new people as well as doing something you like and the best part is having fun. We have our monthly meeting in 0'Donoghue's pub Knockraha on the second Wednesday of every month.
